Ros Clapp – Managing Director

After completing a MSc. in Geology in Cardiff (1996), Ros has worked in the site investigation industry ever since, including a two year site based contract in Ireland. Ros started with the family business in 2000 gaining hands on site experience, before taking over as managing director in 2008. Ros mainly deals with the day to day management of the business as well as procurement and the continuing development of Jackson Drilling Ltd.

Fred Mann - Contracts Manager

With over 35 years experience worldwide, Fred is one of the most qualified drilling specialists in the industry. He is responsible for all drilling contracts, organising crews, equipment and methods, for site investigation drilling, geothermal and water well projects, as well as the surface and underground exploration side of the business. Fred also continues to develop drilling opportunities for Jackson Drilling all over the UK and Overseas. He is a qualified NVQ Assessor, and carries out all the 'in house' and external training of drillers and assistant drillers, throughout the UK. He is also responsible for all plant maintenance and Health and Safety.

Jon Wilkins – Health and Safety Consultant

Jon Wilkins has a diploma in Occupational Health & Safety after many years in the construction industry working as a Site Manager. In 2004 Jon was awarded a Master of Science Degree in Occupational Health & Safety formAston University. Jon is also a registered CDM Co-ordinator. Jon’s knowledge and experience will be a great asset to Jackson Drilling Ltd enabling them to continue improving the structure of their health & safety department.
